Location The Ohio Expo Center is located only seven minutes from downtown Columbus and a short drive from a variety of hotels, restaurants, entertainment and the area's finest shopping. The Expo Center offers entertainment, sound, lighting, food and decorations for any type of event. Parking Those visiting the Ohio Expo Center may reach the facility by taking North Fourth Avenue (from the south) or Summit Street (from the north) to 17th or 11th Avenues. Signs and parking attendants will direct guests to the proper parking areas. Meeting Space Located in the heart of Columbus, the Expo Center has more than one million square feet of event space, seats for 20,000 people, and ties for 2,000 cattle. The center covers 360-acres, and has 20-buildings that complete the complex and can host almost any kind and size of event.
Transportation Columbus offers a range of transportation options including bus and taxi services.
Columbus is easy to get around. The main east-west highway is I-70. There are two primary north-south freeways, I-71 and St. Rte. 315. The outerbelt, I-270, circles the city. I-670 connects the airport to downtown and continues to the west side.
Cars and vans can be rented from a variety of points in the city. Taxi service is provided by many vendors and airport shuttles are available, as well. Public transportation is available from the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA). Normal bus fare is $1.50, express fare $2; transfers are free. COTA offers special service for events such as Red, White and Boom! and Ohio State home football games.
