Location The Alliant Energy Center is located in the beautiful town of Madison, WI set among four lakes and 15 area golf courses. Parking Parking is available at the Coliseum for $4.75 per car and $14.25 per bus. Meeting Space Located in the heart of downtown Madison, the Convention Center has a State-of-the-art facility to accommodate meetings from 12 to 12,000. The center is host to an annual, international exposition with over 70,000 attendees. Event coordinators, decorating services, ushers, laborers and parking services are all available on-site. The center also has State-of-the-art fiber optics and AV equipment.

Madison existed only as a plan when it was selected as the territorial capital in 1836. By 1838 there was one inn and a general store, and construction had just begun on the Capitol.
